This Cookie Policy explains how Cite Worthy uses cookies and similar browser storage at cw.codezela.com. Cite Worthy currently uses only items needed for security, account operation, preferences and reliable delivery. Optional advertising or behavioural analytics cookies are not currently enabled.
1. What cookies do
Cookies are small values saved by a browser and returned to a website. Similar storage may remember a preference or support a security control. Some are removed when the browser session ends, while others remain for a stated period.
2. Essential security and session items
The service uses an encrypted session cookie to keep an authenticated session and preserve form state, and a CSRF protection value to prevent unauthorised cross-site submissions. Authentication, password, passkey and multi-factor flows depend on these protections. Disabling them can prevent sign-in or form submission.
3. Preference items
The cw_currency cookie remembers the LKR or USD display preference for up to one year. It does not decide billing residency or invoice currency. Appearance and navigation preferences may also be stored so the interface behaves consistently. These values do not activate optional advertising or profiling.
4. Cloudflare Turnstile
Public contact and access-request forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. Cloudflare may process limited device, browser and network information and may set or read security-related values under its own privacy terms. Turnstile is required for protected public submissions in production.
5. Email and service providers
Transactional email may contain ordinary delivery technology used to route and protect a message. Cite Worthy does not currently enable marketing tracking through the public website. If optional analytics or marketing technology is introduced later, we will update this policy and provide an appropriate consent choice before using it where consent is required.
6. Your controls
You can use browser controls to inspect, block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may break security, sign-in, saved preferences or forms. You can reset the currency display by deleting cw_currency or selecting another display currency. Invoice currency remains subject to the reviewed residency rules.
